Christine Montessuit-Morgan, Artistic Director 

Christine Montessuit-Morgan has been teaching classical ballet for more than thirty years. She received her training in her native France and Geneva, Switzerland from Youra Tcheremissinoff, performing as a member of his company throughout Europe. She then devoted herself to the teaching of ballet. In 1977, she came to live in the U.S.A. at first settling near Houston, Texas, where she opened a school. She was also appointed Artistic Director of the Brazosport Civic Ballet, where she received critical acclaim for her productions. Among her many teaching credits in the San Francisco Bay area are her years on the faculty of the Pacific Dance Center, Western Ballet in Palo Alto, and the Academy of Ballet in San Francisco, under the direction of Richard Gibson.
